Labs

All our labs are delivered virtually. All “hands-on” lab work will be done through a virtual interface or web browser. However, online lab platforms vary between technologies and classes. Please contact us for specific class lab information.

To attend class and access the labs, you need the following items:

  • Video conferencing application if you are attending virtually and the link for it
  • Link or set of links to courseware
  • Lab access info

All lab information will be emailed to students a few days prior to the start of class.

Upon registration, students will receive instructions on how to get links to labs and other course materials. Students will have access to an online portal that contains everything they need for the course. Instructors thoroughly go through all lab information at the start of class.

Students receive the same experience whether they are attending class virtually or are in the classroom with the instructor. Access to the labs come with the courseware and can be started at the beginning of class.

Students have commented that they have a better experience in class with two screens. They use one to watch the instructor and the other to perform lab work. Switching between screens can be a hassle so some students prefer the double screen view. This mostly applies to virtual students, although students in a live classroom have this capability as well.
