Sunset Learning Institute Instructor and Director of Juniper Training, Yasmin Lara, has earned all four expert level certifications from Juniper. The tracks include Data Center, Enterprise Routing & Switching, Junos Security and Service Provider Routing & Switching. She is the 31st recipient worldwide and the FIRST female ever to accomplish the expert level certifications at Juniper. Yasmin was added to the JNCIE Hall of Fame in all for categories.
“[We are] proud to say we now have a woman QuadE joining the ranks. Welcome to the club Yasmin!” said Stefan Fouant, Director of Technology and Cloud Strategy for Juniper.
According to Juniper, “The 4xE or (EEEE) certification badge from Juniper Networks recognizes individuals who have developed an extensive range of expert-level skills across numerous networking technologies. Individuals have achieved expert-level certifications for Service Provider, Enterprise, Data Center, and Security. A recipient of this badge is well-positioned to manage and lead the highest-performing networks in the world and represents the pinnacle of networking skills in the industry.”
Yasmin Lara has been in the IT industry for over 20 years with roles including Network and Database Designer and Administrator, Technical Support Engineer, Senior Network Engineer and Technical Instructor for Juniper Networks. She has several years of experience with implementation, technical support, network traffic analysis and troubleshooting, and creating test plans for new networking projects.
“I was NOT trying to become a QuadE, nor I had thought about it” said Yasmin. “For me, passing the JNCIE-SEC was like I finally cleared a big obstacle and achieved something I had worked very hard for and that I felt I deserved after so much studying.”
She is currently delivering classes for Sunset Learning Institute in the areas of Routing, Switching and Security for the Juniper Service Provider, Enterprise, and Security Certification tracks.
