Bootcamp Offerings

Overview

This instructor-led Bootcamp, delivered by Microsoft Training Services Partners (TSPs), equips faculty with the skills and resources to confidently teach AI using Microsoft technologies. Through a three-part training series, faculty gain hands-on experience with MSLE resources and tools, learn to integrate AI-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and AI-102: Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution, content into their courses, and prepare for their own AI-900 certification exam—empowering faculty to deliver industry-aligned AI skills and better prepare students for the future workforce. The Bootcamp is delivered over 3 half-day sessions (in-person, hybrid, or virtual via Microsoft Teams).

Audience

The MSLE AI Technical Foundations Bootcamp is aimed at those educators and faculty members at higher education institutions that offer accredited degrees, diplomas, certificates, or continuing or further education programs, such as colleges, universities, community colleges, polytechnics, and TVETS. These Bootcamps are also beneficial for educators at secondary schools with STEM-focused curriculum.

The MSLE AI Technical Foundations Bootcamp is designed for faculty and educators who provide training to students in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), AI, and other related programs aimed at those looking to incorporate and build AI skills into their curriculum.

The MSLE AI Technical Foundations Bootcamp training includes three sessions:

Session 1: An in-person 3.5-hour introduction event to be scheduled at an agreed upon date, time, and location. The agenda includes:

  • The need for AI Skills
  • Purpose of the MSLE AI Technical Foundations Bootcamp
  • Microsoft Learn Overview
  • Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) Portal Overview
  • How to access and utilize Microsoft Official Courseware (MOC) curriculum, labs, and teaching resources for:
    • AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
    • AI-102: Designing and implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution

Sessions 2 and 3: Two 3-hour virtual trainings via Teams. The agendas include:

  • Session 2: A 3-hour virtual training via Teams on delivering Microsoft AI courses and enhancing related classroom programs. The agenda includes:
    • Step-by-step, hands-on orientation to access and use the classroom materials, benefits, resources, and content related to AI available through Microsoft Learn and the Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) program
    • Gaining Practical Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Services
    • Moving from AI-900 to AI-102
    • Curriculum Integration
    • Certifications & requesting accommodations
    • Supporting Student Success
  • Session 3: One, 3-hour virtual training via Teams is dedicated to helping educators prepare for the AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Certification Exam.
    • Participants review core exam concepts, explore question types, and receive guidance on using Microsoft Learn and MOC to reinforce key skills.
