Revamped Training and Certification Structure
- Arista launched a comprehensive overhaul of its training and certification programs on June 1st, introducing Academy Digital, Academy Live, and Academy Certification with four explicit certification levels.
- The new Academy Digital platform offers hundreds of videos, 40 hours of lab time, and one ACE exam annually for just $49.95, organized into four primary learning tracks.
Certification Levels and Requirements
- Arista’s certification program now features three levels: Professional (track-specific), Expert (ACE, covering all tracks), and Unified Re-certification.
- A 2-year re-certification cycle applies to all certifications after initial certification, with a single re-certification exam at the highest level renewing all relevant certifications.
Innovative Exam Approach
- All certification tests are hands-on, lab-based in a fully automated environment, eliminating paper-based certifications and providing instant pass/fail results.
- Exams will be self-scheduled and results available within 30-60 days after automation is implemented.
Flexibility and Accessibility
- There are no prerequisites for scheduling an exam, allowing candidates to test at any time without mandatory training courses.
- The new learning tracks feature similar technologies to older content but include new features and an improved process, accessible through training.arista.com and the Academy Digital platform.
