Viptela SD-WAN Deployment and Troubleshooting (VIPTSEN)


The Cisco SD-WAN Deployment and Troubleshooting course (VIPTSEN) is an instructor-led, lab-based, hands-on course. Students will learn how to create, manage, and operate a Viptela Secure Extensible Network (SEN). The course covers the scalable Viptela Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) configuration templates, networkwide policies (control, data, and application-aware), and network management.

The course is designed for Cisco customers who are responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting
Cisco Viptela SD-WAN and SEN solutions.

  • Secure control plane bring-up, including certificate management
  • Secure data plane bring-up, including Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
  • vManage overview (configuration, management, and monitoring)
  • Basic feature templates
Day 2
  • Smart policies (control, data, AppRoute, and cflowd)
  • Quality of Service (QoS)
  • Troubleshooting methodology (show commands and debugs)
  • Troubleshooting and content review session
