Cloud Native Broadband Router Operations (cnBR)
This three-day course introduces students to DOCSIS cable network operation in a cloud-based environment. Students will be become familiar with the Cisco OpsHub and cnBR Manager product sets and how they interoperate with Remote PHY (RPD) devices. Topic coverage includes a comparison of local hardware-based appliance functionality to an application-based cloud-native environment.
The course includes cloud computing architecture and concepts, DevOps software components, product installation, migration and modification of CLI configuration files, monitoring and logging functions, role-based access control, certificate management, and Smart licensing.
The laboratory activities focus on utilizing user-friendly dashboards, a graphical user interface (GUI), and common automation tools to perform and simplify daily operational tasks.
