Course Overview
This 5-day course is intended for engineers who are familiar with the Cisco Call Manager 3.x platform and need to be brought up to speed on the version 4.x platform. Cisco now has a 2-part class for CIPT 4.0 training that covers everything from CIPT 3.x as well as the new features, however it spans over a 2-week period and requires 8-days of instructor-led training.
This SLI developed courses is specifically intended to provide the engineer with pre-existing knowledge of the 3.x platform an alternative to standard Cisco training that allows them to receive everything they need to move to the 4.x platform in a single 5-day course. Due to the nature of the course and audience, extended hours may be required to ensure all information is covered.
Prerequisites
Previous CIPT training, or equivalent CCM 3.x experience.
Target Audience
Network Engineers who are familiar with Cisco CallManager 3.x but do not have 2 weeks to train on the updated CCM 4.x features and functions.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Configure a generic ICM system using the Configure ICM utility
Create several call routing and administrative scripts using the Script Editor utility
Generate real time and historical ICM reports using standard templates from the Web view utility
Perform basic ICM maintenance, troubleshooting and component installation.
