Sunset Learning Institute believes in getting involved in our communities and with aid organizations to help make our world just a little bit better. Over the years, SLI has participated in events to raise money for various causes. Some of these include:

American Cancer Society: The Owen Sondrol Memorial Golf Tournament – An annual benefit held in Denver, Colorado to raise funds for the Society.

Helping Children Worldwide: Child Rescue Centre Benefit – A annual benefit to raise funds for the orphaned children in Sierra Leone.

The Children Cancer Foundation: A benefit to raise funds for the foundation.

University of Virginia: Capstone Thesis - A year long project to support real-world education for graduating Systems Engineering Students from UVa.
