SLI introduces Basics of Unified Communications
Reston VA, September 24, 2007 - Sunset Learning Institute has released version one of its newest course on Unified Communications, Basics of Unified Communication (BUC).
BUC, which was created in response to the growing need for Unified Communications solutions for large and small organizations, is intended for engineers who need a basic understanding of Voice over IP and for individuals with a background in traditional PBX telecommunication systems.
"Our goal in creating this class was to give IT engineers a comprehensive overview of unified communications and to guide them through creating a robust, reliable and interoperable IT infrastructure to support their new unified communications system regardless of their operating system," said company CEO Rick Morgan.
SLI began delivering the BUC course early this month in its Denver facility and will be delivering it nationally in the coming months. SLI is currently creating follow-on courses in advanced Unified Communications supporting a robust learning path from novice to expert. Additional courses are expected to be released in January of 2008.
