Course Overview
This five-day instructor led course teaches students how to set up a PNNI network that supports ATM and Layer 3 services on MGX 8830-PXM1E, 8830-PXM45, 8850-PXM1E, and 8950 switches.

- WAN Quick Start (WQS) guide
- Basic network concepts
- PNNI concepts (recommended)
Course Objectives
After completing this course the student should be able to:
- Configure MGX 8830, 8850 and 8950 ATM PNNI switches from isolation into a network that supports ATM and Layer 3 (IP) services
- Operate and monitor the MGX network once traffic is established
