As Vice President of Managed Services, Dan O'Brien is responsible for the development of managed learning service strategies, growth initiatives, and new market penetration.
Dan joined MicroTek in 2006 and brings over 23 years of training operations experience to the MicroTek team. Dan has extensive experience in managing training centers, instructor resources, courseware fulfillment, supply chain services, project management and product management. Dan has managed vendor training programs like Cisco, Entrust, RedHat, McAfee and Microsoft on a Global scale.
Prior to joining MicroTek, Dan was COO of Tech Resource Group an Enterprise training deployment and instructional design company. Dan was also Vice President of Global Operations and Planning at Global Knowledge. While at Global Knowledge Dan had the opportunity to run operations in Canada, the USA and Europe. Prior to Global Knowledge, Dan worked for GeoTrain and PCS.
Dan also retired after 20 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve as an Infantry Sergeant Major.
