Certified Cisco Systems Instructor

Job Description:

Sunset Learning Institute, a Cisco Systems Learning Solutions Partner is seeking a Certified Cisco Systems Instructor, who will be based at their Greenwood Village (Denver), Colorado office.

Job functions:

SLI bases its business plan on the premise that the soundest model for blended learning in the IT arena is a Classroom-Centric Model. Our blended learning approach is shaped around classroom training as our core – unlike many of our competitors, whose base is web-based training.

Primary responsibilities include delivering formal classroom training and informal seminars on a variety of technical courses/topics, course development, and other special projects. Travel up to 35% is required.

Requirements:

Candidates should hold a Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI) certification and a current instructor-level CCNA (Certified Cisco Network Associate) certification. Teaching experience with a Cisco Learning Partner or as a contract instructor for a Cisco Learning Partner is preferred. Additional certification as a CCNP (Certified Cisco Network Professional) or CCVP (Certified Cisco Voice Professional) is preferred.

Abilities required:

Excellent speaking and presentation skills are required. Candidates should be self-reliant and adept at problem solving.

Compensation depends on experience and is competitive to industry positions requiring similar technical skills/certifications.
