Sunset Learning Institute exists to provide world-class IT training by delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. Our goal is to help clients optimize their Cisco hardware investment through a consultative approach that allows us to deliver the highest quality advanced training in the marketplace, whether its an “out-of-the-box” training or a customized solution to meet their needs.
Our History
Sunset Group Ltd., a Learning Solutions Company based in Reston, VA, acquired Colorado Computer Training Institute (CCTI) in 2002. CCTI was renamed Sunset Learning Institute (SLI). Through its 12-year history as one of the 8 original Authorized Cisco Training providers, CCTI was recognized for providing high quality, high end-technology training for IT professionals.
Sunset Learning Institute now offers courses in Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL and through the SLI Consortium Red Hat and CompTIA courses.
Our Approach to Training
At SLI, we believe an important factor any training program’s success is establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with our clients. We provide this through a comprehensive consultative approach that begins with understanding our client’s business objectives. By aligning training initiatives with their investment capabilities, we enable our customers to maximize employee job performance and increase our clients’ return on their IT training investment.
We believe in maintaining a single point of contact who will manage client relationships and their enterprise wide training initiatives. Our dedicated account managers are Cisco Sales Experts (CSE), supporting their foundational knowledge to successfully manage your training initiatives. In addition to managing the training program’s day-to-day logistics, our account managers will provide detailed training plans and communications, taking care of your training solution from inception to completion.
Our Approach to Servicing Customers
SLI has a focused and experienced teams that understand the importance of providing a world class experience to our customers. This includes a dedicated student service team to handle all customer needs prior to and post class. We have a sales team that works with IT organizations and a Channel Partner sales team that has experience in the intricacies of working in the Cisco Channel. SLI was the first company in the industry to develop a team to work within the Channel model. We pride ourselves on unmatched knowledge of Cisco technologies and training for Channel Partners and End Customers. We have also developed highly specific training plans Cisco Partners and End Customers can use to maximize the value of Cisco Programs and stretch their training budget. As such we have developed a firm understanding of the nature of the Channel, and the delicate nature of Cisco/Partner/Customer relationships.
