On June 24, 2008 Cisco announced three new entry-level CCNA certifications for the Security, Wireless and Unified Communications technologies.
The courses in these curricula are associate level courses that provide a path for individuals seeking specialization and career opportunities in the areas of security, voice and wireless networking. SLI is proud to announce it will be offering all of these new courses to our customers!
CCNA Security
Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS) is recommended training for CCNA Security certification. This five-day course focuses on the necessity of a comprehensive security policy and how it affects the posture of the network.

CCNA Wireless
Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE) is recommended for individuals interested in attaining the CCNA Wireless certification. This five-day course course that will focus on the knowledge and skills necessary to design, install, configure, monitor and conduct basic troubleshooting tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise installations.

CCNA Unified Communciations
Implementing Cisco IOS Unified Communications (IIUC) is recommended training for the CCNA Voice concentration. IIUC is a five-day instructor-led course that focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to implement Cisco VoIP networks consisting of voice gateways. It also focuses on implementing Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series for Small Business, Cisco Unified Communciations Manager Express, and Cisco Unity Express in a Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express installation.
